Held at the Cottage School, 700 Grimes Bridge Rd, Roswell GA 30075

Grits Fest will bring chefs and farmers throughout Georgia together, as local grits are being harvested and ground, for an event to benefit agricultural and culinary education. This year we will be holding the festival to benefit The Cottage School and their new Culinary Program, part of a broader technical skills program being developed for their High School Students.

Taste what these great chefs and restaurants create with local grits, greens and other in season produce, then vote for your favorite.   We are sure to see . . . Shrimp and Grits, Grits and Greens, Grit based side dishes, breakfast entrees . . . even desserts! Vote for your favorite.

Your $10 ticket gets you a wristband to taste all the chefs' and restaurants' entries. A panel of peers will judge the "Best in Fest' in addition to the 'People's Choice Awards.  You will also be able to attend demonstrations, learn more about the growing and cultural aspects of grits, and even see how grits are ground. Plus, you can shop the Farmers & Artisans Market to stock up for the holidays and enjoy local beer from Jekyll Brewing in collaboration with Peach & the Porkchop. (All beer sale profits will be donated to the Cottage School.)
